Open Book is a publication designed to celebrate and serve as a printed archive of the successes of MA Graphic Design students in 2023. The book not only serves as an end-of-year catalogue but also delves into conversations with industry professionals, community outreach, and offers insights into the course itself.
Open Book was designed to incorporate insights from exceptional creatives, showcase a collection of student work, and highlight the award-winning projects from the class of 2023. The cover was created and produced at the university using letterpress with silver type on amethyst stock. It was then cut, creased, and wrapped around the book as a dust jacket, allowing the book to be fully opened to reveal the Swiss binding.
